DIY Disco Ball Shoe Heels

It’s a disco party up in here!!! Since you guys loved our last DIY shoe idea, I thought we’d show you one that I have been wanting to do to all of my silver shoes for a while: DISCO BALL shoe heels! This is a super simple project, but it completely transforms your shoes into their most glam self. I mean, who doesn’t want to have a party at their feet (literally)?! I can’t wait to see what shoes you guys use for this project. I’m imagining a WHOLE shoe covered in disco mirrors, so someone has to do that now just to fulfill my hopes and dreams. Have fun with this one!

Silver shoes (we got ours here)
Super glue or permanent bond craft glue
Small mirror tiles (here)
Plastic cutter, optional

Note: as you can see below, I actually took my mirror tiles off of a disco ball since we had a problem with the ones we ordered not arriving in time for the photos. Both ways work totally fine!

1. Clean any dust or dirt off of the heels of the shoes before starting.

2. Starting at the top of the heel start gluing pieces of mirror to the shoe. Make sure the glue has dried completely on one row before moving to the next.

3. Continue gluing down tiles in a curved shape along the heel of the shoe until the whole heel has been covered. If you run into any small gaps that you can’t fit another tile into, you can cut your tile down using a plastic cutter.

4. Allow the glue to dry completely and get your disco on! It’s as easy as that!
