The Ultimate DIY “Dunkaroos” Dip Recipe

If you’re wondering why this post is called the ULTIMATE Dunkaroos dip, it’s because we’re taking Dunkaroos dip to the next level by making it even more delicious! A lot of you probably remember Dunkaroos from when you were younger. They were the delicious cookies and frosting packs that you would pray to get in your lunchboxes every morning. Now, it’s SO much harder to find Dunkaroos anywhere (Amazon and Walmart are pretty much the only places to get them), but you’re in luck because the dip is extremely easy to make, and will definitely be a hit at your next party! Seriously, if you have 5 minutes to spare and a big bowl, you’ll be ready to bring back that childhood nostalgia. Now watch me dip!!

1 box of funfetti cake mix
2 cups vanilla pudding
1 container (8 oz) cool whip
1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1/4 cup crushed birthday cake oreos
Animal crackers

1. Mix together the cake mix, vanilla pudding, and cool whip until smooth.

2. Fold in the rainbow sprinkles, chocolate chips, and crushed oreos.

3. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 hours or until cold. Serve in a large bowl with animal crackers or put in a sauce dish like a Dunkaroos container.

If you need me today, I’ll be holding onto this dip and animal crackers and sitting in front of a Netflix show! And if you remember pop tart crunch cereal too, we’ve got a mean recipe for it right over here!!

  1. I didn't know I should feel lucky that my local grocery store always has Dunkaroos! I can't remember not seeing them – I wonder if it's a Canada thing? Either way, your recipe looks delicious!

    1. Yes!! I read earlier today they are still sold in Canada just not to us folks in the US! Looks like I need to pay a visit to Canada. 😉 xoSam
