Birthday Cake Milkshake Bowl Recipe

If you keep up with food trends online at all you’ll know there’s a HUGE trend happening right now with smoothie bowls. So I’ll admit that I don’t quite understand them. If I’m going to have a smoothie, I want everything blended together, not sitting on top of the smoothie. But something I do understand is an ice cream sundae, so why not turn the smoothie bowl into a milkshake bowl and make this trend full on ice cream sundae style?! And what better type of milkshake to show you this with than a birthday cake one! That’s right, we’re giving you all of the details to make a birthday cake MILKSHAKE BOWL!! So you can have your cake and drink it too. Ha!

 

 

1 1/2 ounces of vanilla almond milk
1 ounce of white chocolate milk
2 ounces half and half
1 teaspoon dry white cake mix
1 scoop vanilla or strawberry ice cream
Vanilla frosting
Small slice of cake
Chocolate chips
Whipped cream
Chocolate sauce
Rainbow sprinkles
Cherries

 

1. Combine almond milk, white chocolate milk, half and half, cake mix, and ice cream in a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Pour the milkshake into a bowl. Make one row on top of the milkshake have cake and vanilla icing.

3. Put down chocolate chips for the second row, then whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and finish was a little chocolate sauce.

4. Eat with a spoon like a sundae or drink it with a straw!

 

When milkshake bowls become the next food trend, you best remember that they started here first! And I’m not saying you should your regular birthday cake this year, but you can totally try a milkshake bowl alternative with this recipe!
