The pom poms are back today folks, and this one might be our easiest project yet! I’ve been really into collars lately and it seems like detachable collars are making a comeback (I’ve been seeing them everywhere). So we’re showing you how to add rainbow pom poms to your collars for a simple way to spice up your outfits! If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you already know that I have a HUGE obsession with these pom pom earrings and just making pom poms in general, so I’m sure this DIY project won’t come as a surprise to you at all. My rule is, if it exists, you can add pom poms to it! Ha! Can’t wait to see you guys rocking these collars!!!
Small pom pom maker (here)
Various colors of yarn
Scissors
Detachable collar (here)
Needle and thread
1. Using the tutorial from our DIY pom pom headband, make about 9 mini rainbow pom poms. Trim all of the pom poms down until they are to your liking.
2. Place the pom poms onto the collar where you want them to do.
3. Use a needle and thread to attach the pom poms onto the collar. Tie off any thread and trim loose ends. Rock those rainbow pom poms!
